How often do we really notice and appreciate the silent sacrifices and love that mothers give their children every day?
Mothers from the toddler class were celebrated during the Mother’s Day program at Tzu Chi Great Love Preschool Philippines in Agno, Quezon City, on May 4. The school turned into a place filled with smiles and touching moments, as teachers and staff made them feel appreciated for all the love and sacrifices they give at home every day.
During the program, parents gamely participated in the activities that created a special bond with their kids. The pizza-making session became the most favorite part of mothers. They witnessed how their toddlers giggled with excitement while they carefully guided them in arranging ingredients and toppings on their dough.
Adding more joy to the program was the blindfold guessing game, where mothers tried to find their own child from a line of children just by touching their hand, testing how well they know them. Some mothers quickly recognized their child, while others gently felt each hand with anticipation before finding their child. . Charmeuse Lee, the mother of Chloe, shared that the event gave them a chance to enjoy activities they normally do not get to do at home because of their busy schedules; singing, dancing, and pizza-making were her favorite parts of the program. Meanwhile, Sher Ong, the mother of Shazia, appreciates Tzu Chi Great Love Preschool Philippines for giving moms the chance to be the highlight of the program. She felt important and respected for her unwavering love for her child. .
