A renewed success for a meaningful cause: Tzu Chi and Primer Group’s pre-holiday sale concludes

Just eight months after their first successful collaboration, the Tzu Chi Foundation Philippines and the Primer Group of Companies teamed up once again for a four-day pre-holiday sale from October 23 to 26, 2026 at the Buddhist Tzu Chi Campus in Sta. Mesa, Manila.
The event drew enthusiastic first-time visitors who praised the unique blend of great shopping and community outreach. Maria Jenine Enriquez, who visited from Malabon City with her sisters after hearing about the event's mission, shared her deep fascination.
“We came by because we knew it’s for a good cause. It's fulfilling to shop here because while I'm satisfied with the deals, I am also satisfied that I can actually help other people,” Enriquez shared, noting that they bought four bags of valuable items at great prices. “I hope they continue events like this so it could reach a wider range and more people would know it’s a great opportunity to help others.”
Rea Paras, traveling from Marilao, Bulacan, echoed a similar sentiment.
“It’s actually our first time to attend this event. We heard it’s for a cause so we said we should check it out so we can also help the foun
dation,” Paras said. Noting the nice items on sale, she added, “It's very great for gifts this coming Christmas to our families and friends. Aside from buying goods, we were able to help the foundation’s beneficiaries.”
Representatives from the Primer Group of Companies, Thea and David, also expressed gratitude for the continued partnership.
“I am really looking forward to these kinds of charity events because at least we can work hand-in-hand to give support to those in need,” David said. Thea added that she was happy to provide great deals while enabling customers to give back.
Reflecting on their experience working alongside the volunteers, both representatives highlighted the warm hospitality of the Tzu Chi community.
“The people are very nice and accommodating. I actually didn't expect them to serve us delicious food that you would not expect is vegan,” Thea noted.
“I didn’t have a hard time socializing with the Tzu Chi community. They were friendly. And the food, I was actually shocked. I did not expect the food to be plant-based so it’s a very unique experience,” David shared.
Through initiatives like this, the Tzu Chi Foundation continues to encourage widespread support for meaningful causes. By successfully wrapping up this four-day holiday sale, Tzu Chi and the Primer Group of Companies have created even more opportunities for the public to serve and uplift communities across the Philippines.
