Tzu Chi Aids Flood Victims
For the fourth time, Tzu Chi Foundation returned to Sto. Tomas, Pampanga, bringing much-needed relief to 451 family still enduring the effects of month-long flooding caused by the southwest monsoon.
The beneficiaries received rice, groceries, sleeping mats, and other essential supplies to help families who continue to face displacement and the loss of their livelihoods.
As communities face the growing consequences of extreme weather, may this continuing experience remind us to be more mindful of how our actions affect the environment. As we care for the Earth, may we also keep the spirit of sharing alive, so help continues to reach those who need it most.
慈濟基金會第四度重返邦板牙省聖托馬斯，為451戶仍受西南季風長達一個月洪災所苦的家庭送上急需援助。災民獲贈白米、雜貨、睡墊等物資，以協助流離失所、生計受損的家庭。面對極端天氣加劇，願此經歷提醒我們更珍惜環境，也讓互助精神延續，使援助送達最需要的人。
